Commercial and Trade Activities (M)

The Chinese M-Visa is designed for foreigners traveling to China specifically for commercial and trade activities, such as business negotiations, visiting clients, or attending trade fairs.

Required Documents:

1. Passport

Applicants must submit their original passport with at least six months’ remaining validity and a minimum of two blank visa pages.

2. Photograph

One recent photograph is required for the Chinese visa application. The photo must be 48 mm × 33 mm in size, with a head width of 15–22 mm and a head height of 28–33 mm.

3. Invitation Letter

Applicants must provide one of the following options, as applicable:

A. Government Invitation (TE):

• An invitation letter issued by a Chinese local government.

B. Company/Organization Invitation with Verification:

  • An invitation letter issued by a Chinese company or organization, accompanied by a “Verification Letter of Invitation” from the relevant Chinese local government.
  • These letters can be arranged by the Chinese inviter.

C. Exemption with Incumbent or Guarantee Letter:

  • In certain cases, applicants may be exempted from the above invitation letters and instead submit an Incumbent Letter or Guarantee Letter issued by one of the following entities:
    • Bangladesh Government Departments
    • Leading organizations and well-known enterprises
    • Chambers of commerce or trade associations
    • Scientific research institutes
    • Organizations involved in China-Bangladesh cooperation projects
    • Friendship groups, Chinese Chamber of Commerce in Bangladesh, Overseas Chinese Association in Bangladesh

Important Notes

Even in this case, an invitation letter issued by a relevant entity or individual in China must still be submitted.
